Pipeline non è il nuovo, divertente, giochino per smartphone che ti consente di passare minuti inebetito davanti al touch screen. Pipeline non è un magazine, né un e-book. Pipeline è l’app da viaggio. Breve, lungo, sul treno, in macchina, in autobus, quale che sia il tuo tragitto, ti terrà compagnia.
Nella giungla cittadina, quando sali su un qualsiasi mezzo di trasporto pubblico, decine di nasi sono infilati non più tra le pagine del grande classico edizione tascabile, né del quotidiano nazionale, ma tra la tastiera del proprio telefono. Risatine qua e là, qualcuno scrive in maniera convulsa, qualcuno semplicemente legge.
Lo scopo di Pipeline è quello di fornire al lettore il racconto che si adatti precisamente alla durata del suo viaggio. Poche pagine se il tragitto è breve, qualche decina se è lungo. Molto semplice. Un modo divertente, originale e pratico per passare il tempo che ogni santo giorno viene speso sull’autobus. Pipeline è l‘app made in Italy nata, nemmeno a farlo a posta, su un affollatissimo autobus di Londra dalla mente di Luigi Colucci. A lui si è da subito affiancato un team formato da Claudio Pecere, e dalla mente creativa di Serena Bagnardi, che cura la parte grafica del progetto. Assieme a loro decine di Pipeliners che, tramite il sito, stanno iniziando ad inviare i propri racconti per creare un nucleo consistente in grado di fornire la maggiore offerta possibile. Come funziona Pipeline: lo scrittore invia il proprio testo, che viene selezionato e corretto dal team; il lettore inserisce il numero di fermate che dovrà percorrere e intuitivamente gli viene fornita una lista di racconti tra i quali poter scegliere. Finiscono le pagine, finisce il viaggio. Inoltre ciascun lettore può accedere alla pagina personale dello scrittore, contattarlo ed eventualmente leggere altri suoi testi.
Ancora una volta siamo davanti ad un’app che si basa fondamentalmente sull’idea di comunità: lettori e scrittori. Tutti i racconti raccolti da Pipeline sono infatti inviati gratuitamente dai Pipeliners che, senza obblighi e senza impegni, possono condividere i propri elaborati. Sarà poi il lettore a decretarne il successo. Un’app intelligente, che unisce la noia della routine quotidiana al piacere della lettura.
