Beyond Tha Noize – Oltre il rumore della vita
Beyond Tha Noize è un progetto che nasce nel 2016 da Richard Sacilotto AKA Saccas. Il DJ e producer ormai rinomato, ha calcato i maggiori palchi e club dell’Australia, portandosi alla posizione numero 25 della classifica dei dj australiana.
Con i suoi tratti distintivi ha avuto la possibilità di esportare la sua musica in diversi continenti, toccando l’Asia e l’Europa, da Bali a Singapore.
Per Beyond Tha Noize (Sakkas) la musica è sempre stata una passione ma allo stesso tempo una fuga, cercando di dare al pubblico sempre la stessa energia e sentimento.

Quali sono le motivazioni che ti hanno spinto a far nascere il progetto Beyond Tha Noize?
Il progetto è nato come un duo insieme al mio grande amico Tom dodd ma ora comprende solo me. Abbiamo buttato giù un paio di idee e abbiamo tirato fuori il nome al quinto tentativo. Il progetto “Beyond Tha Noize” (oltre il rumore) si fonda proprio sull’andare oltre ciò che tutti stavano facendo e non dar peso ai trends, fare solo la musica che ci piace.
Potresti parlarci del tuo Movement e dei suoi episodi?
The Movement è il mio podcast mensile in radio in cui seleziono le mie tracce preferite. Faccio un lavoro di ricerca molto intenso per trovare tracce e remix per ogni episodio; indica precisamente il mio stile e la musica che suono.. Quali sono state le tue più grandi soddisfazioni e quali sono stati invece i momenti più brutti della tua carriera?
Il momento più soddisfacente è stato suonare oltreoceano al Belasco Theatre di Los Angeles, è una venue stupenda e poter suonare i tuoi brani originali per la maggior parte del set ti fa sentire benissimo. Non ho un periodo di down invece! Tutto sta per decollare quindi fammi questa domanda l’anno prossimo e magari saprò risponderti!
Qual è la traccia di cui vai più fiero e perché?
C’è una traccia che sto per rilasciare, si chiama “Nothing Compares”, stiamo ultimando il mix. E’ una traccia che prende bene, abbiamo inserito chitarre suonate dal vivo e un’armonica in sottofondo, abbiamo concluso il lavoro con due cantanti, uno di Sydney e un argentino per dargli il tocco finale!
Hai un sogno nel cassetto, una collaborazione che vorresti realizzare assolutamente?
Die Antwoord –Immaginare ciò che potrei metter su con loro è incredibile!
Axwell – Un produttore davvero bravissimo
Justin Bieber – Averlo su una mia traccia sarebbe assurdo!
Ci sarà mai la possibilità di venirti a sentire in Italia?
100% c’è già qualcosa in cantiere quindi non è lontano! Sto collaborando con Maria de la Paz e il fantastico team di Hoola Hop Agency su un tour europeo e non vedo l’ora!

How did you come out with Beyond Tha Noize project? What was the reason behind this choice?
The project was originally a duo project with my good friend Tom dodd but now it is my solo project. We were throwing ideas around and came up with the name after the 5th attempt and it just stuck with a few words changed around. The project “Beyond Tha Noize” was about going beyond what everyone else was doing and just sticking to the music we loved and not worrying about what was trending.
Tell us about your Movement and it’s episode?
The Movement is my monthly podcast radio show with a selection of tracks that I love. I dig deep to find the tracks/Remixes that go into each Episode; it gives a true indication of my style and the music I play out. You can find the episodes on my facebook page or soundcloud.
What are the most satisfying and least satisfying aspects of your career? Could you pick the best and worst moment of it?
The most satisfying would have to be playing overseas in Los Angeles at Belasco Theatre it is such an amazing venue and being able to play most of my originals in a set is always a good feeling.
The least Satisfying aspect of my career. Well I don’t really have one. Everything now is starting to take off so ask me this again in another year and I might have something for you.
What’s the track you’re proud of the most?
I have an upcoming track which is soon to be released called “Nothing Compares” we are just working on the final mixdown and getting that a bit nicer. It is a “Feel Good” track, We used live guitars and a live harmonica in the backing of the guitar and worked alongside 2 singers 1 from Sydney and the other from Argentina to finish it off.
Who do you dream to work with?
Die Antwoord – Image what you could put together with them it would amazing.
Axwell – Such an amazing producer.
Justin Beiber – Having him sing on one of my tracks would be unreal.
Will you ever come to Italy to play?
100% there is already something in the works so it won’t be to far away. I’m working alongside Maria and the amazing team at Hoola Hop Agency on an European tour which I’m excited about.
