Nato dall’iniziativa di Studio Noumena ed inaugurato lo scorso 15 Gennaio 2015, RESHAPE15 | Wearable technology competition è un contest altamente stimolante e ricco di contaminazioni che vede fondersi la moda con la tecnologia, allineandosi coi tempi delle grandi e sempre più sorprendenti innovazioni.
Queste due discipline pur correndo parallele hanno un elemento imprescindibile e comune: la voglia e la capacità di anticipare i tempi, cercando sempre qualità innovazione e genialità. Differenti forme di sapere e di ricerca si uniscono per un unico scopo: la creazione di una nuova estetica, intelligente e stimolante, una vera e propria sfida per i designers.
I partecipanti al concorso saranno gli esploratori delle possibili evoluzioni collegate al mondo della wearable technology. Le scelte creative del concorso sono libere e affidate alla responsabilità dei loro creatori, che tuttavia dovranno rispettare la solida filosofia di Reshape: combinare idee con processi di fabbricazione e strategie di mercato. La rete di Reshape è infatti definita da un sistema di FabLabs e Maker Space dotati di macchinari per il tagli laser e la stampa 3D, robot e fresatrici a controllo numerico ed è a questi strumenti che i partecipanti del bando dovranno attenersi.
Altro punto da tenere in considerazione oltre alle macchine da utilizzare sarà infine il pensiero riguardo i metodi di assemblaggio e i costi di realizzazione.
Un pensiero completo, che dovrà essere innovativo, dovà fondere due mondi con una forte identità attraverso determinati mezzi e precise considerazioni che renderanno la propria creazione un’idea completa e totalmente pensata.
L’iniziativa, le cui iscrizioni sono concluse, terminerà nel mese di Giugno, in cui verranno valutati i progetti che il 6 Luglio saranno annunciati i visionari vincitori.
Tutti i vincitori saranno inclusi nella piattaforma online di RESHAPE e potranno a partecipare a laboratori di Fab Lab, concorsi internazionali ed infine partecipare insieme al proprio fablab produttore alla piattaforma ecommerce di Reshape che garantirà loro l’80% sulla vendita del prodotto vincente che sarà messo in commercio.
Reashape è una vera e propria esperienza totale, capace di far crescere la creatività dei giovani, farla confrontare con la realtà del mercato e soprattutto offrendo loro la possibilità di poter dare un valore tangibile alle proprie idee. Siete curiosi di scoprire i vincitori?

Created on the initiative of Studio Noumena and started this January 15, RESHAPE15 | Wearable technology competition is a very interesting and full of contamination contest that merge fashion with technology, in line with the times of the great and ever more surprising innovations.
These two disciplines, even if running parallel, have an indispensable and common element: the desire and the ability to anticipate the times, always seeking quality innovation and genius. Different forms of knowledge and research come together for a single purpose: the creation of a new aesthetic, a real challenge for designers.
The participants in the competition will be the explorers of the possible developments connected to the world of wearable technology. The creative choices of the competition are free and entrusted to the responsibility of their creators, but will have to meet the solid Reshape’s philosophy: combine ideas with manufacturing processes and market strategies. Reshape’s network is in fact defined by a system of FabLabs and Space Maker with machines for laser cutting and 3D printing, robots and CNC milling machines and the participants of the call have to follow these rules. Another point to consider in addition to the machines to be used will be, ultimately, thinking about the methods of assembly and manufacturing costs.
A complete thought, to be innovative, will merge two worlds with a strong identity through certain means and precise considerations that will make their creation a complete idea and totally designed.
Starting from January 15 until 23:59 on May 31, you can enter the contest and submit your project proposals on www.youreshape.com. The month of June will be dedicated to the evaluation of projects and finally July 6 will be announced the visionaries winners.
All winners will be included in the online platform RESHAPE and will be able to participate in workshops of the Fab Lab, and finally participate in international competitions together with their FabLab ecommerce platform of Reshape manufacturer, which will guarantee them 80% on the sale of the winning product which will be put in trade.
Reshape will be a real and total experience, able to raise young people’s creativity, comparising it with the reality of the market and especially by offering them the chance to give a tangible value to their ideas. Creative, what are you waiting for?
